Labor Day Games

Good Evening,

OK, the Labor Day games and TT are closed.  We had 2 custom orders and only one participant in the "Where's the Bottom" game.  For those interested, the bottom was $154, roughly a 22% discount.  The purple one was never captured, I took the price down to $125, a 35% discount.  So, it looks like we've got a loser on our hands, but that's ok... Christmas is coming and my sweet Madeline (grand-niece) likes my left overs.  As far as I'm concerned, if it's not going to sell, I'd rather it not sell at it's retail price... the alternative is it not selling at a discounted price, and that just hurts my feelings.    :)

Have a Great Labor Day Night, and there's a rumor that Ivy whispered / licked into my ear... there might be a "Surprise Custom" tomorrow!

Sorry about the time, I got busy and forgot... that kind of thing happens at my advanced age.

Happy Labor Day!

While my mind is still lingering in 1975 from the reunion, it's time to get back to work.  So, let's play some games, it's a double header game day.

Where's the Bottom?

If you haven't participated in this fabulous game in the past, here's how it works.  We've got 2 aged  sticks in inventory (aged to the extent that they are less than 1 week old), pictured below, and they've gotta go.  Each stick is currently priced at $195.  Beginning at 1:00 PM, US, (CST), I'm going to start playing with the prices, they'll go down, they might go up, they'll go down again... you get the idea.  I'll be adjusting the prices about every 5 minutes until someone bites.  At that point, we've found the bottom!

So, the Where's the Bottom game starts at 1:00, but Custom Time starts now.  I've got 2 open spots on the board, would anyone like to play?

As a reminder, here are the rules of the Custom Time game.
  • Existing design only, no "create it from scratch" designs.  Ebony and Holly are not available.
  • The only information needed is a link to the sold or active stick, along with allowable changes which are wood type, gemstone / metal/metal flake inlays and length.  If it requires more information than what's listed above, it's considered a "create it from scratch" design.
  • Just one order, and the first 2 people to reply thru an ETSY conversation gets the customs.
  • You are only eligible to win once in a 30 day time frame, and the custom order is non-transferable.

Have a Great Labor Day!

Update:

Congrats Mortmain, you've got the 1st one!

and this concludes today Custom Time game... Lauren you've got the 2nd spot.

  1. Aww!! The purple TT is beautiful but the size was an issue for me and I very close to puting it in my cart a couple of times especially with that bottom price. I should have taken the plunge since I will never be able to afford the retail price. Madeline is a very lucky girl.
